THE SUMMIT | BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE

BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE

THE SUMMIT is proud to serve locally celebrated Blue Bottle Coffee, an Oakland based micro-roaster of organic coffee. Blue Bottle approach a cup of coffee the way a winemaker does a fine wine. The ultimate cup starts with single-origin beans from artisanal producers who sustainably grow and harvest to enhance flavor. These single-origin beans are roasted in small batches, then brewed on a drip bar, where coffee is made one cup at a time. The result is coffee you’ve never imagined: a drink with such lively aroma, fullness of flavor and complete lack of bitterness you feel as if you’re tasting coffee for the first time. Yes, Blue Bottle is really that good!

THE SUMMIT is also excited to offer tea from SF based Red Blossom, specializing in traditionally crafted loose leaf tea. As direct importers, they travel far and wide in search of rare teas. And most importantly, they are tea lovers, who love to drink tea, talk tea, think tea and even obsess over tea, just like we do!

For more, visit Blue Bottle Coffee and Red Blossom. Stay connected with massive selector as we take you behind the scenes and lead you up to the grand opening of THE SUMMIT. Opening AUGUST 2010.

PEEK GALLERY

As a gathering place for like-minded geeks from the music, design, and tech communities, The Summit will also function as an art space called peek gallery, looking to feature the connoisseur of the everyday object and focus on the applied arts of industrial, graphic, and textile design. At peek, the collector is the curator and craft is the art.

Slated for a September opening, the premiere show, “33 1/3: Album Art in the Third Space,” is a collection of futurist + space aged-themed record album covers, selected by renowned collectors, record shop owners, DJs and artists from the Bay Area.
