J-Boogie has been holding it down in the bay for over 10 years as a radio host, dj, producer, and band leader. Performing live, J-Boogie blends propels the San Francisco sound forward, by blending live instruments and MC's with a dj mix of dub, soul, hip-hop, midtempo, funk, house, and afro beats.

To celebrate J's latest OM Records release, we've got a special evening of live music in store for you... J-Boogie's Dubtronic Science, DJ Zeph, Ren the Vinyl Archeologist, proof, pantyROBber, and D-Reel are ready to take the stage and rock the house for yall.

Breakestra
Also appearing is the 10-piece, Los Angeles based ensemble, Breakestra. Inspired by funky breaks sampled on many hip hop records, Breakestra revisits glorious funk classics during their live performance.

From Sly and The Family Stone and James Brown to The Third Guitar and Tony Alvon, Breakestra will get everybody onto the good foot! Combined with an intro and various interludes of "looped" recreations of famous hip hop samples, Breakestra will even pave the way for the "funkily naive" to embrace the rhythmic revolution that James Brown kicked off more than thirty years ago.
